What a wonderful event hosted by Rug Idea of Los Angeles California and my good friend Dr. Khosrow Sobhe (Dr. Kay). We spent 4 days learning and improving our skills on Rug Identification, Rug Repair, and Visual and hands on training with rugs from all over the world to include; Persian, Turkish, Chinese, Indian, Pakistan and American hand made area rugs. No better way to improve yours skills than hands-on with such a great collection. Rug Identification helps to determine value and best cleaning techniques for the particular rug. This workshop provided plenty of both and something we can use to better assist our customers.

We also reviewed ways to improve customer service and search engine optimization.

Future articles will contain pictures of rugs and their background to help our customers pick their next piece of art on the floor or wall. Lastly we can also now provide appraisal service for obtaining the market value for insurance purposes as some rugs can be worth more than you think.
